The North America Sales organization has an exciting new opportunity as a Product Specialist, to join its team in delivering extraordinary results. The candidate will proactively promote products and support key dealers as we grow our business in the region. This role will support a suite of products offered by our legendary Massey Ferguson and Fendt brands including application equipment, tractors, and hay equipment to include the technology offerings associated with these products. The candidate will have geographic responsibility for and will need to reside in the following states: Kansas or Oklahoma. This role will report directly to the Account Manager supporting dealers in Kansas, Oklahoma, and west Texas. The Product Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring our customers can maximize their experience with our products and services. This role adds value to our customers and our dealer network by providing exceptional customer service; educating both dealers and customers on our products, technology offerings, and services. 

 

Your Impact 

  • Proactively promote a suite of AGCO products to grow market share in the assigned territory. Support dealers to ensure they can optimize the performance and efficiency of our products and technology offerings while providing exceptional customer experience. 

  • Execution of education and training of our products and technology suite of offerings. Act as a team player; working together with peers and the dealer network to improve customer satisfaction. 

  • Assist with product demonstrations with a focus on ensuring potential customers have exceptional experience while also building dealer salesperson confidence. 

  • Support dealers with customer visits with the intent to build relationships, find new customers, qualify leads, and to collect Voice of Customer (VOC) information. 

  • Must be disciplined in completing internal administrative tasks relating to position to ensure robust metrics and reporting (i.e., Lead Gen., Training, Demonstrations). Coordinate, assist, and help execute other customer-oriented events – clinics, trainings, farm shows, dealer events, etc. 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • Minimum High School Diploma is required. Preferred to have a bachelor's degree in an Agriculture related field, or Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience supporting Agriculture. 

  • 5+ years of experience working in sales, marketing, customer service, and/or a technical support role working in the agricultural industry – equipment, technology, inputs, retail, etc. 

  • Experience operating agricultural equipment and knowledge of technology products in the agricultural industry. 

  • Strong presentation skills and Strong communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Salesforce CRM experience. 2+ years of sales experience in a dealer-based distribution channel. Strong agronomy knowledge. Training & curriculum development experience and skills.
