General Description:
The Manager/Senior Manager, Market Access is responsible for developing and executing market access strategies to support timely and sustainable access to BeOne Medicines’ oncology and haematology portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. The role requires demonstrated experience in PBAC submissions, reimbursement strategy and technical pricing, together with the ability to translate clinical, economic and payer evidence into clear and actionable access strategies.
The successful candidate will operate with a level of autonomy commensurate with their experience and appointment level and will represent Market Access within cross-functional teams. The role will provide market access insights to support portfolio and reimbursement feasibility assessments, business planning, evidence generation, launch readiness and reimbursement across the product lifecycle, while collaborating effectively with local, regional and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute market access strategies by evaluating reimbursement, pricing and evidence-generation options, conducting reimbursement feasibility assessments, and communicating implications for portfolio prioritisation, launch sequencing and lifecycle management.
Lead or contribute to the preparation of PBAC and other HTA submissions, including development of clear, evidence-based content and technical analyses, with accountability for submission quality, strategic alignment and delivery timelines appropriate to experience and appointment level.
Represent market access on cross-functional teams, providing actionable access and payer insights to inform business planning, evidence generation, launch readiness and lifecycle strategy.
Provide technical pricing support across the product lifecycle, including development of pricing analyses and recommendations, reimbursement scenarios, pricing business cases, and financial and access analyses to support internal pricing decisions and governance.
Monitor and interpret the evolving reimbursement and policy environment in Australia and New Zealand and support stakeholder engagement activities that advance access objectives.
Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure local market access insights inform evidence planning, forecasting, scenario planning and alignment on access and pricing strategy.
Qualification Required:
Education / Experience Required:
Undergraduate degree required
Post-graduate degree and/or MBA preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of market access experience in HTA market required
Essential Skills and Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical market access or health economics, with demonstrated PBAC submission experience. Candidates appointed at Senior Manager level would be expected to have a strong track record of leading successful PBAC submissions. Pharmac experience advantageous.
Tertiary qualification in Health Economics, Public Health, Science, Pharmacy, or a related field; postgraduate training strongly preferred.
Experience in oncology and/or haematology market access strongly preferred.
Strong capability in developing high-quality HTA submissions, including clear, evidence-based value propositions and technical analyses; advanced capability expected at Senior Manager level.
Strong understanding of PBS pricing, listing pathways, post-listing processes, and lifecycle management.
Proficient in budget impact modelling for PBAC submissions and internal forecasting; familiarity with economic evaluation and the ability to understand and critically review cost-effectiveness models is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects with appropriate independence, including external vendors and timelines, and to work effectively across cross-functional and matrix teams; experience independently leading complex projects expected at Senior Manager level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in standard computer applications, with advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience using digital and AI-enabled tools to support research, data analysis, content development, and workflow efficiency, with appropriate attention to quality, validation, governance and compliance.
