Description:

CTG is seeking to fill a Workday Business Systems Analyst – Extend & Payroll position for our client.

 

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

 

Duties:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for enterprise HR technology solutions.
  • Support the analysis, configuration, and enhancement of applications built on Workday Extend.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to identify business needs and recommend effective Workday solutions.
  • Analyze Workday Core HCM and Workday Payroll processes, integrations, workflows, and data flows.
  • Support Employee Central Payroll (ECP) integrations and related HR/payroll business processes.
  • Analyze and document employee offboarding processes and administration requirements.
  • Create detailed workflow diagrams, process documentation, and interface mappings.
  • Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, issue tracking, and resolution.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions and effectively communicate requirements, system impacts, and proposed solutions to technical and business audiences.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR technology processes, system functionality, integrations, and overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with development and technical teams to ensure solutions meet defined business and functional requirements.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience specifying, configuring, or analyzing applications built on Workday Extend.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM and Workday Payroll.
  • Experience with Employee Central Payroll (ECP) integrations and related HR/payroll processes.
  • Knowledge of employee offboarding administration and associated business processes.
  • Advanced workflow diagramming and business process documentation skills.
  • Strong interface mapping and systems analysis capabilities.
  • Experience managing UAT activities and coordinating with cross-functional users.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise HR technology implementations and integrations.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting enterprise HR technology implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Extend applications and solutions.
  • Experience working with Workday HCM, Payroll, and related integrations.
  • Experience supporting requirements analysis, workflow design, interface mapping, UAT, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 to $65.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
