DevOps Engineer

Remote Recruitment is hiring a DevOps Engineer for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure using infrastructure-as-code tools
• Monitor system performance and respond to incidents to ensure uptime SLAs
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes
• Collaborate with development teams to improve build, test and release workflows

Requirements

• 3+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible or similar IaC tools
• Strong knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python or similar
