Job description

We're building a new global Berlitz, and this is your opportunity to help shape it. Nearly 150 years of expertise, meeting the ambition and technology to power a new era of learning.

If you are the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, isn’t afraid of a blank page, and is excited to help shape the future of a global company undergoing a significant transformation, you might belong at Berlitz!

Berlitz is transforming how the world learns languages, moving from a legacy education brand into a modern, digital-first B2B platform. As we roll out the Berlitz App, Compass, and a new credit-based commercial model, we need a Head of Product Marketing to turn that transformation into a story buyers actually believe, and a go-to-market engine that delivers it. Reporting to the CPTO, you'll own positioning, messaging, and enablement for the business, and be the direct link between market reality and our product roadmap.

Your responsibilities

  • Own and evolve segment positioning and messaging (HR, L&D, enterprise vs. SMB) as our product and commercial model transforms, keeping it consistent across every buyer touchpoint.

  • Define the narrative architecture for new products and packaging, including the credit-based commercial model, Berlitz App, and Compass, in partnership with the CPTO and Product leadership.

  • Lead GTM strategy and execution end-to-end for major product and feature launches, directing cross-functional coordination across marketing, sales, and product.

  • Build, manage, and develop the product marketing team, setting standards for output quality and prioritisation.

  • Own the sales enablement library, battlecards, decks, case studies, built globally and localised for major regions.

  • Direct market and competitive research and convert findings into product implications, USPs, and pricing input.

  • Own win/loss analysis as a standing discipline, feeding structured insight into positioning and product planning.

  • Partner with Brand & Activation, ABM, Paid Performance, and Product leadership, and represent product marketing in CPTO-level planning forums.

Who you are

  • You have 10+ years in product marketing, including 3+ years leading or managing a team.

  • You've built and scaled a product marketing function, including sales enablement infrastructure and cross-functional launches at company-wide scale.

  • You write and message at an executive level, translating technical and commercial complexity into buyer value.

  • You're comfortable operating at leadership level across segments and geographies in a global, matrixed organisation, partnering directly with C-suite stakeholders.

  • You're analytical and fluent in using competitive, win/loss, and customer data to inform and defend strategic decisions.

You stand out if...

  • You've worked in HR tech, L&D, language learning, or education.

  • You've operated through a major commercial or platform transformation, such as a system migration, pricing model change, or entity restructuring.

  • You have deep familiarity with ABM and demand generation motions and how product marketing shapes them.

  • You've worked in a global-local model spanning multiple regions, such as DE/EU and North America.

Why you should join

  • Set the positioning and GTM strategy for Berlitz's next-generation B2B, digital-first offering.

  • Partner directly with the CPTO on product and commercial transformation.

  • Build and lead a product marketing team and enablement function from the ground up.

  • Join a collaborative international team shaping how the world learns.

  • Remote work but occasional travel may be required for business engagements or events.

At Berlitz, connecting people across languages and cultures is at the heart of what we do. Our global workplace reflects the diverse world we serve, bringing together different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. We create an inclusive environment where everyone has an equal opportunity to belong, contribute and grow.
