About the Role

We are seeking a senior-level Strategic Content & Communications Manager to lead and elevate our healthcare content and messaging efforts. You will drive the development of market messaging, content strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our brand and product narratives resonate clearly with healthcare audiences, including patients, providers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Market Messaging & Positioning

  • Develop comprehensive messaging frameworks for healthcare products, solutions, and market segments, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Strategy and Corporate Strategy teams to translate market and customer insights into compelling, customer-facing narratives.
  • Support product launches and strategic initiatives with effective positioning and messaging that differentiates our offerings in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Content Strategy & Editorial Leadership

  • Own and manage the enterprise-wide editorial calendar, coordinating content across multiple channels and teams.
  • Develop and execute a thought leadership strategy for senior executives to enhance brand authority and visibility within healthcare communities.
  • Oversee the creation and curation of customer stories, case studies, blogs, webinars, and campaign messaging tailored to healthcare stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms and touchpoints, while staying compliant with healthcare regulations.
  • Leverage AI and other advanced tools to streamline content development and improve efficiency.

Agency & Cross-functional Leadership

  • Direct agency partners on content priorities, quality standards, and project deliverables.
  • Make strategic decisions regarding which content and communication work should remain internal versus outsourced.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple teams including Product, Sales, Digital Marketing, and Corporate Strategy to execute integrated healthcare marketing campaigns.

Analyst & Industry Communications

  • Coordinate the preparation and delivery of analyst briefing materials and follow-up communications related to healthcare industry evaluations.
  • Develop supporting content for analyst evaluations, industry awards submissions, and external recognition opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership to prepare executive presentations and secure industry speaking engagements.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of healthcare content and messaging strategies through key performance metrics.
  • Monitor engagement, influence, and conversion rates across campaigns and channels.
  • Recommend investments and tactics related to SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and digital content optimization to maximize reach and impact within healthcare markets.

  

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, corporate communications, or related roles, preferably within healthcare or life sciences.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at a strategic level, translating complex healthcare products and market data into clear, compliant messaging frameworks.
  • Strong editorial and project management skills with experience managing enterprise editorial calendars.
  • Proven experience managing agency relationships and collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, and corporate teams.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing principles, SEO, and emerging content technologies including AI tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a strong storytelling ability tailored to healthcare audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
Salary Description
$120,000 - $140,000
