Australian Senior Auditor | External Audit & Compliance | WFH | ₱80,000–95,000 | Full-Time
• Pay: PHP 90,000–100,000/month, based on experience
• Location: Work from home (Philippines-based)
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM PHT (aligned to Australian business hours)
• Employment type: Full-time, Employee
You'll join the Audit & Assurance function of a well-established Australian accounting practice, reviewing audit fieldwork and financial statements prepared by graduate and cadet auditors, and helping deliver external audits for a mix of corporate and not-for-profit clients under Australian Auditing Standards, the Corporations Act, and ASIC/ACNC compliance requirements.
This role suits someone who's already comfortable being the second set of eyes on someone else's audit work — not just producing their own — and who can turn technical findings into clear, practical feedback for both junior staff and clients.
You'll work directly with Australian directors and managers, sharpen your technical audit judgement on real ASIC/ACNC compliance work, and build the client-facing and review experience that leads toward audit management. It's a genuine step up from execution-only audit work into review, coaching and client relationship responsibility.
• Review audit testing, financial statements and compliance work prepared by the team — building the technical judgement that leads to review-level and, eventually, manager-level work
• Supervise and coach graduate and cadet auditors — developing the leadership experience that separates senior auditors from career execution staff
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and explain findings clearly — building the client relationship skills that make you indispensable to the practice
• Conduct technical research on complex audit and accounting issues, and flag risks or control improvements — the analytical work that keeps you visible to management
• Support the wider practice — contributing to process improvements and occasional business development involvement
• Experience with CaseWare or a similar engagement management platform
• Proficiency with MYOB, Xero and Excel
• More experience than the above — we're just as interested in candidates with deeper audit backgrounds
