Job Description: Virtual Occupational Therapist (OT)

Supplemental hours--work as little as an hour a week or as many as you would like. 
Can see students after school up to 6:00 PM.

Position Overview:

Liberty Education Solutions is seeking an experienced Virtual Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide remote occupational therapy services to school-aged students in Pennsylvania.

In this role, you will work virtually with students to support the development of skills necessary for successful participation in their educational environment. You will collaborate with families, educators, and other members of the educational team while providing individualized, student-centered services.

Candidates must hold a current Occupational Therapy license in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging, individualized virtual occupational therapy services to school-aged students.
  • Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify students' functional strengths and areas of need.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' IEP goals and educational needs.
  • Support areas such as fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-regulation, executive functioning, and activities related to school participation.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic strategies as appropriate.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress.
  • Collaborate virtually with teachers, families, school personnel, and other related service providers.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations when required.
  • Provide families and educators with strategies that can help reinforce occupational therapy goals.
  • Effectively utilize virtual platforms, technology, and digital resources to provide interactive and meaningful therapy sessions.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy (OT) license — REQUIRED.
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • NBCOT certification, as applicable.
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services to school-aged students strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with IEPs, school-based therapy, documentation, and progress monitoring.
  • Comfortable providing services in a virtual/teletherapy environment.
  • Strong technology skills and ability to engage students effectively through a virtual platform.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Compassionate, patient, and student-focused approach.
