New Coworker Engagement Specialist

At Franciscan, our New Coworker Engagement Specialists are critical to coordinating all aspects of new hire programs to ensure a smooth and highly engaging onboarding experience. In this role you will collaborate with stakeholders including Education, Talent Acquisition, Provider Services, Employee Health, Information Technology, Security and organizational leaders to facilitate internal onboarding processes. You will also play a key role in the retention and success of new coworkers through engagement conversations and other relationship building skills.

This position is remote but may require days on site at a Franciscan location as needed.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Presents and facilitates the delivery of Orientation Day 1 to new coworker with enthusiasm and passion. Demonstrates the ability to present to groups of new coworkers regarding topics such as Policy and Procedures, Safety and Security, and Behavioral Expectations. Presents a positive and professional image.

• Manage and monitor all aspects of new hire programs from pre-hire system access, new hire physicals, background checks and Orientation Welcome Session.

• Monitor completion of physical and partners with Employee Health, if needed.  

• Responsible for administration of background check process to include confirming launch of correct background check, monitoring completion of background check, working with new hire for additional documentation if needed.

• Maintain data integrity in all systems, spreadsheets and documents to ensure that all stakeholders have accurate real- time information concerning new hires onboarding.   

• Initiate verbal and written correspondence to new coworkers clarifying each step in the onboarding process.   

• Facilitate engagement conversations with new coworkers to discuss their initial experience with Franciscan.

• Utilize your passion and enthusiasm to deliver the Orientation Welcomes Session to new coworkers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree Related field or equivalent combination of education or related experience - Required

• Equivalent combination or education/related experience - Required

• 2 years Human Resources experience - Preferred

• 2 years Coworker Engagement - Preferred
