Job Summary

The Gaia Herbs PRO Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving new business growth and deepening account relationships within the healthcare practitioner channel, with a specialized focus on high-volume direct accounts, including independent pharmacies, med spas, addiction treatment centers, and other clinic-based storefronts. Additionally, this role will manage the Arizona territory including both direct and distributor accounts.

This role blends consultative selling, clinical education, and strategic territory development. The representative will identify, convert, and grow independent pharmacy and other strategic accounts by positioning Gaia Herbs as a trusted partner in practitioner-grade herbal medicine. 

Through proactive outreach, in-person engagement, and tailored pharmacy strategies, this individual plays a key role in expanding distribution, increasing product adoption, and strengthening Gaia Herbs, Gaia Herbs PRO, and Salus Floradix presence in the pharmacy channel. 


Key Responsibilities

  1. Independent Pharmacy Business Development
  • Identify, prospect, and convert independent pharmacies into active Gaia Herbs PRO accounts.
  • Develop pharmacy-specific sales strategies including staff training and merchandising support.
  • Build relationships with pharmacists, buyers, and store owners.
  • Execute structured onboarding plans to ensure repeat ordering behavior.

2. Territory & Strategic Account Management

  • Develop and execute a territory plan prioritizing high-potential strategic accounts and channels.
  • Maintain consistent cadence of in-person visits and virtual follow-ups.
  • Track all activity and pipeline in CRM (HubSpot).


Requirements

3. Practitioner & Pharmacy Engagement

  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with pharmacists and clinicians.
  • Provide samples, education, and merchandising recommendations.
  • Lead staff trainings to improve sell-through and confidence 

4. Sales Growth & Performance

  • Drive revenue through new account acquisition and expansion.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Meet KPIs for new accounts, AOV, and order frequency.

5. Education-Led Selling & Brand Advocacy

  • Educate accounts on formulation science and clinical application.
  • Represent Gaia Herbs PRO at events and trainings.
  • Provide field feedback on market trends and competitors.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years sales experience in natural products, healthcare, and/or pharmacy.
  • Some herbal knowledge is strongly desired
  • Understanding of independent pharmacy channel required.
  • Experience selling into practitioner or clinical environments.
  • Strong communication and CRM proficiency.
