About the Job:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Technical Lead to join our client's fast-growing eCommerce team and lead demand planning, inventory forecasting, and supply chain operations across Amazon and other online sales channels. In this role, you will optimize inventory levels, improve forecasting accuracy, and coordinate product movement from manufacturers to fulfillment centers while minimizing costs and maximizing operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products remain available, support new product launches, and drive data-driven supply chain decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage demand forecasting models using historical sales data, market trends, and business insights.
  • Optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts, excess inventory, and unnecessary holding costs.
  • Manage inventory across Amazon FBA, Vendor Central, and other eCommerce fulfillment channels.
  • Coordinate product orders, inventory transfers, and shipments from manufacturers to warehouses and fulfillment centers.
  • Monitor Amazon fees and develop strategies to reduce FBA storage costs and maximize reimbursement opportunities.
  • Build and improve forecasting models, dashboards, and reporting tools using Excel, Power Query, and other planning platforms.
  • Analyze supply chain performance and develop data-driven recommendations for inventory and purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align inventory planning with promotions and product launches.
  • Manage relationships with freight carriers, overseas manufacturers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and performance reporting to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Amazon demand planning, inventory optimization, or supply chain management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, and forecasting models.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience managing inventory within Amazon FBA, Vendor Central, or similar eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience in demand planning or supply chain operations within consumer products, retail, or other fast-moving industries.
  • Knowledge of freight logistics, overseas manufacturing, and third-party logistics (3PL) operations is an advantage.
  • Experience with forecasting and inventory planning tools such as Flieber, Inventory Planner, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and project coordination skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced eCommerce environment is highly preferred.
