About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager to take ownership of the company’s paid advertising activities across Google and Meta. The role will focus on improving campaign performance, managing budgets, strengthening tracking and reporting, and helping the team understand which marketing activities are driving enquiries and enrolments.

The successful candidate will initially review the existing agency-managed accounts and develop a clearer, data-led paid media strategy. The role will work closely with the internal marketing and content team but will remain primarily focused on paid acquisition and performance.

This is a 100% remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Meta & Google Ads Management – Launch, manage, and optimize paid campaigns across both platforms to improve ROAS and overall efficiency.

  • Budget Management – Monitor and pace advertising spend across daily, monthly, and quarterly budgets, providing clear recommendations for budget allocation.

  • Campaign Performance Analysis – Track campaign health, ROAS, CPA, CPL, conversion rates, and lead quality to identify optimization opportunities.

  • Dashboarding & Reporting – Prepare clear performance reports and dashboards, translating campaign data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

  • Paid Media Strategy – Develop channel recommendations, campaign plans, and expansion opportunities based on performance data and market trends.

  • Audience Targeting – Build and refine audience segments, including prospecting, retargeting, and location-based audiences, to improve reach and conversions.

  • Tracking & Attribution – Improve conversion tracking through Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and platform reporting tools to better connect campaigns with enquiries and enrolments.

  • A/B Testing – Conduct structured tests across creatives, audiences, campaign messaging, and landing pages to improve campaign results.

  • Creative Collaboration – Partner with the internal content team to evaluate advertising assets and develop higher-converting creative variations.

Competencies and Qualifications

Must-Have

  • At least 3 years of hands-on paid media experience.

  • Proven experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads.

  • Strong track record of managing budgets and improving campaign performance.

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and advertising reporting tools.

  • Strong understanding of audience targeting, conversion tracking, and campaign optimization.

  • Ability to explain campaign results and budget recommendations clearly.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience building performance dashboards and presenting campaign insights.

  • Experience conducting structured A/B tests.

  • Experience advertising to Australian consumers or managing multi-location campaigns.

  • Exposure to children’s programs, fitness, education, recreation, or lifestyle brands.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
