Job description

We are looking for a skilled Architectural Interiors to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality interior projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior architecture, technical documentation, and construction detailing, with the ability to turn design concepts into accurate, practical, and construction-ready drawings.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop detailed architectural interior and fit-out documentation from concept through construction.

  • Prepare accurate floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, internal elevations, sections, details, and schedules.

  • Produce detailed joinery, cabinetry, kitchen, bathroom, and built-in furniture drawings.

  • Prepare finishes, materials, fixtures, fittings, and furniture documentation.

  • Translate design concepts and mark-ups into clear, detailed, construction-ready drawings.

  • Coordinate interior documentation with architectural, structural, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and other consultant drawings.

  • Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, constructability, and consistency.

  • Incorporate design changes, consultant comments, and client feedback into documentation.

  • Assist with material and finish selections and maintain accurate schedules.

  • Ensure documentation follows relevant Australian building standards, NCC/BCA requirements, and project specifications.

  • Maintain drawing standards, revisions, title blocks, and document control.

  • Communicate effectively with architects, designers, consultants, builders, and other project stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple documentation tasks and meet project deadlines.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure drawings are accurate and ready for construction.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of professional experience in architectural interiors, interior documentation, or interior fit-out projects.

  • Australian project experience is required.

  • Strong technical documentation and construction drawing skills.

  • Experience producing detailed interior plans, elevations, sections, joinery, and schedules.

  • Strong understanding of interior construction, materials, finishes, and detailing.

  • Knowledge of Australian construction practices and NCC/BCA requirements.

  • Ability to interpret architectural and interior design concepts and develop them into detailed documentation.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider project team.

Technical Requirements:

  • Equipment is self-provided

  • PU/Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 (12th generation or newest)

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Home or Pro

  • Power Backup: Power station, Powerbank, UPS, and etc.

  • Extra Display: Secondary/External Monitor

  • Audio & Video: Noise-Cancelling Headset + Web Cam

  • Internet Speed: 40-50 Mbps minimum bandwidth speed for both Download and Uploads.
