We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Reporting Team and help drive the evolution of topic analytics from traditional rule-based approaches to next-generation AI and Machine Learning powered topic intelligence. This role will contribute to the High Throughput Topic Analytics initiative, developing scalable methods for topic discovery, analysis, and insight generation across large-scale customer experience datasets. Working closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, and Analytics teams across Mexico, India, and South America, the successful candidate will help build intelligent capabilities that power enterprise reporting, monitoring, and customer experience insights.

Responsibilities
- As a Senior Data Scientist on the Reporting Team, you will lead the development of AI-powered Topic Analytics solutions using Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Large Language Models.
- Design, develop, and evaluate model-based topic discovery, classification, clustering, and summarisation capabilities.
- Develop approaches that combine deterministic rule-based topics with ML/LLM-generated topics to improve coverage, flexibility, and accuracy.
- Build scalable NLP and GenAI pipelines capable of processing large volumes of customer experience and conversational data.
- Develop experimentation frameworks to benchmark and optimise topic quality, relevance, and business impact.
- Support initiatives focused on increasing Topic Analytics throughput and enabling onboarding of larger enterprise customers.
- Contribute to research and innovation in Generative AI, NLP, Topic Analytics, and Customer Experience Intelligence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or NLP.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade ML models.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Demonstrated experience with machine learning and data science frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch or TensorFlow, SpaCy, LangChain or LangGraph, and PySpark.
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing, Text Classification, Topic Modelling, Clustering Algorithms, Embeddings and Semantic Search, Statistical Analysis and Experimentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related technical discipline.
- Experience working with Large Language Models, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, and optimisation.
- Experience in Customer Experience Analytics, Voice of Customer, Survey Analytics, or Contact Centre Analytics.
- Strong understanding of modern GenAI architectures including RAG, vector search, and agent-based workflows.
- Experience utilising machine learning platforms such as Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Databricks, or MLflow.
- Experience building highly scalable analytics platforms and data pipelines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in enterprise SaaS product development environments.
