Job description

Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the Sportsbook Product Team and is looking for a passionate Product Manager who is ready to take ownership of product areas that directly impact player experience, operational efficiency, and business growth.

You will become part of a fast-growing international product company building one of the leading Sportsbook platforms in the iGaming industry. We are looking for a proactive and business-oriented professional who can transform ideas into well-structured product solutions, adopt and drive new processes, and take on operational ownership that lets the team scale.

Purpose of the role:

In this role, you will work closely with Risk, Operations, Design, Analytics, and Engineering teams to create features that improve betting experience, scalability, retention, and partner satisfaction. You will work alongside our team of Product Owners as a peer, bring structure to how we work, and take on operational responsibilities that free up leadership to focus on strategy.

We value people who combine structured thinking, ownership mentality, and strong communication skills with genuine curiosity about product development, process improvement, and user behavior.

What We Expect From You

  • Ownership mentality and proactive approach — willing to pick up work beyond your immediate product scope

  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills

  • Comfortable taking on operational and process-improvement work, not just product delivery

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams as an equal partner

  • Structured thinking and problem-solving capabilities

  • Focus on delivering measurable business value

  • Passion for solving product challenges through smart, pragmatic, and user-centric approaches

Key responsibilities:

Product Delivery & Ownership

  • Own and manage the product backlog and roadmap for your product area

  • Translate business goals into clear product requirements and user stories

  • Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and technical complexity

  • Drive feature delivery from discovery through release and post-launch evaluation

  • Ensure product quality and readiness throughout the development lifecycle

  • Approach product areas strategically — connect day-to-day delivery to longer-term product and business goals, not just the next release

  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities before they become blockers

Process Ownership & Operational Leadership

  • Identify, propose, and drive adoption of new processes across the product team

  • Take on operational workflows and reporting currently owned by product leadership

  • Act as a reliable owner for recurring operational tasks (monitoring, reporting, cross-team coordination)

  • Continuously improve product delivery practices and team ways of working

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with fellow Product Owners/Managers and business stakeholders as a peer

  • Align product solutions with Business stakeholders, Risks, Operations

  • Facilitate communication between business and development teams

  • Participate in roadmap planning and sprint ceremonies

Product Discovery & Improvement

  • Analyze user behavior, product metrics, and market trends

  • Identify opportunities for UX, retention, and conversion improvements

  • Support hypothesis validation and experimentation initiatives

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of product processes and delivery practices

Documentation & Communication

  • Prepare concise and structured product documentation (Product Vision, BRD, presentations)

  • Define acceptance criteria and ensure shared understanding across teams

  • Maintain transparency around priorities, risks, and delivery timelines

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in digital products

  • Experience in Sportsbook, Betting, or iGaming products

  • Understanding of sportsbook mechanics, odds, betting flows, or player behavior

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Strong skills in backlog management and requirements definition

  • Track record of proposing and driving adoption of new processes, not just following existing ones

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail

  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Google, Slack

  • Strong written and spoken English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with A/B testing and product analytics tools

  • Technical understanding of APIs and integrations

  • Experience working with high-load or real-time systems

  • Knowledge of B2B/B2C Sportsbook approaches

  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve product or process workflows (e.g., AI-assisted analysis, documentation, reporting)

Our Benefits:

  • Private health insurance

  • Sports benefits

  • Comprehensive Mental Health Program

  • Free English lessons (online)

  • Local language courses

  • Paid time off

  • Maternity leave support

  • Referral program rewards

  • Upskilling, internal workshops, and participation in professional conferences and corporate events
