What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting directly with a supportive UK-based manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating world-class eCommerce experiences. In this dynamic position, you’ll tackle exciting architectural challenges, build custom backend solutions, and see your work directly transform client success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Craft & Innovate: Design high-performing Magento 2 modules, backend features, and seamless system integrations you can be proud of.
• Connect & Empower: Collaborate directly with clients to translate their vision into elegant code, showcasing your solutions in interactive demos.
• Optimize & Elevate: Fine-tune database queries and backend infrastructure to deliver lightning-fast speed and unshakeable security.
• Champion Team Success: Uplift your peers through insightful code reviews, engaging stand-ups, and collaborative pair programming.
• Build Together: Partner with talented designers, PMs, and CX experts to create delightful end-to-end user journeys.

What You’ll Bring

• Magento 2 Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience building custom modules and mastering Magento 2 architecture.
• Backend Excellence: Strong proficiency in PHP and a passion for MySQL database optimization.
• API Integration Skills: Proven success building and consuming reliable REST and SOAP web services.
• Modern Dev Toolkit: Confidence with Git version control and building efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Great Communication: A warm, articulate style that makes complex technical ideas clear and exciting for clients.
• Positive Mindset: A proactive problem-solving spirit and genuine enthusiasm for growing together as a team.

Bonus Points For 

• Cloud Tech: Adobe Commerce Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Search Engines: Hands-on time with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
• Infrastructure: RabbitMQ, Kafka, Docker, or Kubernetes experience.
• Modern Frontend: Familiarity with Hyvä themes, AlpineJS, or TailwindCSS.
• Certifications: Active Adobe Commerce certifications or Agile/Scrum background.
