At The Connective, we believe that healing starts with connection.

The Connective is an integrative mental health and wellness practice providing thoughtful, whole-person care to individuals, couples, and families throughout the Bay Area. Our multidisciplinary approach brings together psychotherapy, nutrition, breathwork, and other supportive services designed to care for the whole person - mind, body, and beyond.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced, licensed clinician with expertise in couples therapy to join our team as a Contracted Clinical Supervisor. This role is a great fit for someone who genuinely enjoys mentorship, clinical consultation, and supporting both associate and licensed therapists in strengthening their skills, confidence, and professional growth.

This flexible independent contractor role offers the opportunity to share your expertise and make a meaningful impact while being part of a warm, collaborative, and engaged clinical community.

YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU...

  • Love couples work and enjoy helping other clinicians deepen their skills and confidence in this area.
  • Are an experienced, thoughtful clinician who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and collaborating with others.
  • Can balance being warm and supportive with clear, constructive feedback.
  • Feel comfortable consulting on complex clinical situations, ethical questions, and risk concerns.
  • Value clinical excellence without perfectionism and create space for curiosity, learning, and growth.
  • Bring a relational, culturally responsive, and inclusive lens to your work.
  • Are reliable, responsive, and organized, while also comfortable working independently.
  • Enjoy being part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary community and feel aligned with The Connective’s core values and whole-person approach to care.

LOCATION + HOURS

This role requires approximately 4–6 hours per month, depending on the needs of the practice. The position can be fully remote, though candidates who are local to San Francisco or Benicia and available for occasional in-person participation are especially encouraged to apply!
