The role is responsible for supporting the full data conversion lifecycle, including data assessment, mapping, transformation, loading, validation, reconciliation, testing, and deployment. Success in this role requires strong Workday data conversion expertise, excellent client service, clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end Workday data conversion activities, including source data assessment, mapping, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation.

• Partner with clients and functional, technical, reporting, and project teams to understand conversion requirements, resolve data issues, and align data activities with project milestones.

• Develop and maintain data workbooks, load files, validation reports, reconciliation outputs, and other client-facing documentation.

• Lead or support data activities throughout testing cycles, deployment readiness, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Review team deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with Workday and The Groove delivery standards.

• Manage assigned data workstreams, including scope, priorities, risks, dependencies, timelines, and delivery commitments.

• Identify data risks and issues early, develop recommendations, and communicate escalations clearly and professionally.

• Guide client stakeholders through data-related decisions, requirements, validation, and reconciliation activities.

• Coach and support team members through feedback, knowledge sharing, and hands-on guidance.

• Contribute to the continued development of The Groove's Data Services practice through reusable tools, templates, methodologies, and process improvements.

• Build strong client relationships and represent The Groove with professionalism, collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on commitments.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed, and client-facing consulting environment.
