Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Total experience 8+ years
  • Strong hands-on expertise in end-to-end Oracle Fusion HCM implementation  with Oracle Fusion US Payroll, including payroll definitions, elements, balances, costing, payment methods, payroll flows, payroll calculations, and statutory configurations.
  • Strong understanding of US Payroll legislation, taxation, statutory compliance, payroll validation, payroll balancing, and reconciliation.
  • Good working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Benefits, including benefit programs, plans, eligibility profiles, life events, enrollments, rates, and Open Enrollment.
  • Good working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Workforce Compensation, including compensation plans, budgets, worksheets, approvals, and compensation cycles.
  • Strong experience with payroll processing activities including QuickPay, payroll calculations, retro pay, balance adjustments, costing, and payroll reconciliation.
  • Experience with payroll costing and General Ledger integration, including understanding of payroll accounting and reconciliation processes.
  • Good understanding of payroll interfaces and integrations with Time & Labor, Benefits, Absence Management, and other HCM modules.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Fast Formulas for Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation.
  • Strong experience developing and supporting HCM Extracts, BI Publisher reports, OTBI reports, and SQL-based reports.
  • Hands-on experience with HDL/HSDL and Spreadsheet Loader for HCM data migration and data maintenance activities.
  • Strong payroll impact analysis skills, particularly for Benefits and Workforce Compensation changes.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex payroll processing issues, performing root-cause analysis, and recommending effective functional and technical solutions.
  • Experience participating in SIT, UAT, regression testing, payroll parallel testing, production validation, and post-production support.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Fusion implementation, enhancement, AMS, and production support engagements.
  • Experience working with US-based clients and US payroll operations is preferred.
  • Experience supporting global HCM implementations and AMS engagements is desirable.
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, payroll teams, functional consultants, technical teams, and client leadership.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional global teams.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as an Oracle Fusion US Payroll Techno-Functional Consultant, providing functional and technical expertise across Payroll, Benefits, and Workforce Compensation.
  • Configure, implement, enhance, and support Oracle Fusion US Payroll, including payroll definitions, elements, balances, costing, payment methods, payroll flows, and statutory configurations.
  • Work closely with payroll and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Configure and support Oracle Fusion Benefits, including benefit programs, plans, eligibility profiles, life events, enrollments, rates, and Open Enrollment processes.
  • Configure and support Oracle Fusion Workforce Compensation, including compensation plans, budgets, worksheets, approvals, and compensation cycles.
  • Perform payroll impact analysis for changes related to Benefits, Compensation, Time & Labor, Absence, and other HCM processes.
  • Support end-to-end payroll processing activities, including QuickPay, payroll calculations, retro pay, balance adjustments, payroll costing, payment processing, and payroll reconciliation.
  • Perform payroll validation and balancing activities and investigate discrepancies between payroll results, costing, and financial outputs.
  • Ensure Oracle Fusion US Payroll solutions align with applicable US payroll legislation, taxation, statutory, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Fast Formulas for Payroll, Benefits, and Workforce Compensation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain HCM Extracts for payroll, benefits, reporting, and downstream system integrations.
  • Develop and support BI Publisher reports, OTBI analyses, dashboards, and SQL-based reporting solutions to meet payroll and business reporting requirements.
  • Perform HCM data migration and maintenance activities using HDL, HSDL, and Spreadsheet Loader.
  • Support integrations between Payroll and other HCM modules and external applications, including Time & Labor, Benefits, Absence Management, and General Ledger.
  • Troubleshoot payroll and integration issues by analyzing payroll processes, configuration, data, Fast Formulas, extracts, reports, and interfaces to identify root causes and implement corrective solutions.
  • Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, payroll parallel testing, production validation, and deployment activities.
  • Support Oracle Fusion quarterly updates by performing impact assessments, regression testing, identifying affected configurations and technical components, and implementing required remediation.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, payroll SMEs, business stakeholders, and client leadership to ensure successful delivery of HCM solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation, including requirements, configuration documents, solution designs, test scenarios, process documentation, and support procedures.
  • Participate in implementation, rollout, enhancement, AMS, and production support activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for payroll process optimization, automation, reporting improvements, and enhanced system capabilities.
  • Provide technical and functional guidance to team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Take ownership of assigned deliverables, manage priorities effectively, and ensure high-quality solutions are delivered within agreed timelines.
