Job description

Board Intelligence is a technology and advisory firm on a mission to make boards more effective, and through them, build better businesses and benefit society.

Over twenty years we have established ourselves as the market leader in governance and board effectiveness, trusted by more than 80,000 directors, executives, and governance professionals globally, including across the Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and OMX 30. That trust has been earned through depth of insight, rigorous advisory work, and a track record that newer entrants simply cannot replicate.

We have invested in applied AI since 2020, well ahead of the market, and that early conviction has paid off. Our AI-powered platform and smart board advisor give us a competitive advantage that is widening, not narrowing. In 2024, K1 Investment Management, the leading B2B Enterprise SaaS investor, backed us to accelerate that position further. We are now growing fast, with a proven commercial model spanning both mid-market and enterprise, and a product suite that has become a necessary addition in high-stakes board environments.

The people joining us now will shape how we scale. We are deliberate about how we do that. Our founders and leadership team are deeply invested in keeping the culture that got us here: thoughtful, high calibre, and genuinely human. Ambition and balance are not in competition at Board Intelligence.

If you want to work at the intersection of AI and governance, on problems that matter at the highest level, this is a strong place to be.

The Role

This is a junior commercial role based in Riyadh, reporting into our Sales Director in Dubai. You will own the early stages of the sales cycle in KSA, running discovery calls and product demos independently, converting inbound enquiries and referrals into qualified opportunities, and representing Board Intelligence directly in market. Our Director, Middle East and Associate Director of Sales will provide senior support behind you, but you will be the face of Board Intelligence in KSA day to day.

The role is fully remote and autonomous. You will manage your own workload, attend client offices across Riyadh, and operate with the discipline and professionalism that senior stakeholder engagement demands. Responsibilities will grow as you prove yourself and as our KSA presence scales.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Run discovery calls and product demonstrations independently with senior stakeholders including Chairs, CEOs, board members, and governance leaders.

  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities across KSA, working inbound referrals, network contacts, and outbound prospecting.

  • Represent Board Intelligence at client offices, events, and roundtables across Riyadh and the wider KSA market.

  • Convert interest from events, partner introductions, and inbound enquiries into qualified meetings and active pipeline.

  • Maintain accurate and consistent CRM records across all regional activity, notes, and next steps.

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Director and Associate Director to progress opportunities and ensure regional momentum is sustained.

  • Work with Marketing and Revenue colleagues to sharpen outreach messaging and improve conversion in a new market.

  • What we are looking for

We are looking for a commercially driven, self-directed professional who is deeply embedded in the KSA market and ready to represent Board Intelligence independently from day one. You will be fluent in the language and culture of senior stakeholder engagement in the Gulf, and you will bring the discipline and credibility that operating autonomously in a new market demands. This is a foundational role, and the right person will treat it that way.

    Required Experience:

    • Must be fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.

    • Based in Riyadh with the ability to attend client offices regularly.

    • Experience in a commercial or client-facing role, SDR, BDR, junior account executive, or similar.

    • Comfortable running discovery calls and product demonstrations without senior support in the room.

    • Strong understanding of KSA and GCC business culture, etiquette, and stakeholder expectations.

    • Confident, credible, and composed when engaging with senior leaders.

    • Highly organised and self-directed, with the discipline to manage a full workload autonomously.

    • Commercially curious and motivated by growth, both your own and the company's.

    • Experience in B2B, professional services, SaaS, or governance-related environments is an advantage.

    What good looks like:

  • You run discovery calls and product demonstrations independently with Chairs, CEOs and board members, and you hold the room with confidence without a senior colleague behind you
  • You understand KSA and GCC business culture well enough to know when to press and when to wait, and you navigate senior stakeholder relationships with the right balance of persistence and respect
  • You convert inbound enquiries and referrals into qualified pipeline consistently, and you know the difference between a genuinely interested prospect and one who will not progress
  • You keep your CRM accurate and up to date as a matter of discipline, not as an afterthought, so your pipeline reflects reality at any given moment
  • You manage your own workload without being chased, and you operate with the professionalism that autonomous, remote work in a senior client environment demands
  • You collaborate openly with the Sales Director and Associate Director, flagging where you need support and bringing them in at the right moment without over-relying on them
  • You treat this role as the foundation of Board Intelligence's KSA presence and take personal ownership of how the brand lands in market
Board Intelligence is building something meaningful in the Middle East, and this role sits at the centre of that. We offer a competitive package reflective of the market, with real opportunity to grow as the regional presence grows.
