We help organizations strengthen security, modernize infrastructure, accelerate cloud adoption, and improve operational efficiency through practical, scalable technology solutions.

As we continue expanding our commercial presence, we are seeking a Business Development Representative who can help drive growth, build strategic relationships, and create new opportunities across target industries.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative who thrives on creating new opportunities, building relationships, and developing a strong sales pipeline from the ground up.

This role focuses on identifying prospective clients, engaging decision-makers, developing strategic partnerships, and positioning KITC’s cybersecurity, cloud, AI, and IT modernization services to organizations facing complex technology challenges.

The ideal candidate is proactive, consultative, and comfortable engaging executives, technology leaders, operations teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Pipeline Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Healthcare, Energy & Utilities, Technology, SaaS, and Professional Services sectors.
  • Develop and execute account-based sales strategies targeting key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Conduct prospecting activities through LinkedIn, referrals, industry events, strategic partnerships, networking groups, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM tools and structured sales processes.
  • Research target organizations to understand business challenges, technology initiatives, compliance requirements, and growth objectives.
  • Schedule discovery meetings and introductory conversations with prospective clients.

Teaming and Partnership Development

  • Develop relationships with technology partners, consulting firms, managed service providers, cloud providers, and industry associations.
  • Identify referral and partnership opportunities that support business growth.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners on joint marketing initiatives, events, webinars, and client engagements.
  • Represent KITC at conferences, networking events, industry associations, and partner meetings.

Capture and Proposal Support

  • Manage opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to develop client-focused solution approaches.
  • Support development of proposals, statements of work, presentations, capability statements, and client-facing materials.
  • Develop compelling value propositions tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain visibility into opportunity status, sales forecasts, and pipeline performance.

AWS Partner and Cloud Sales Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue opportunities aligned with AWS-funded programs, co-sell initiatives, AWS Marketplace, and APN partner referrals.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with AWS Partner Development Managers (PDMs), account teams, and cloud alliance stakeholders.
  • Position KITC’s cloud modernization, Zero Trust, cybersecurity, and AI/ML capabilities in alignment with AWS priorities.
  • Collaborate with technical leadership to develop cloud-focused capability statements, solution briefs, and joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Support qualification and pursuit activities involving AWS infrastructure, multi-cloud environments, cloud migration, cybersecurity programs, and digital transformation projects.
  • Identify teaming and partnership opportunities with AWS Premier and Advanced Tier partners.
  • Track and manage AWS-related pipeline activity, partner-sourced leads, co-sell engagements, and cloud modernization opportunities.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of business development, sales, account management, or client relationship management experience within technology consulting, cybersecurity, cloud services, professional services, managed services, or B2B sales environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Strong working knowledge of the sales lifecycle, business development strategies, lead generation, opportunity qualification, client acquisition, and solution-based selling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling presentations, capability statements, proposals, and client-facing materials while confidently engaging executives, technology leaders, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, and maintain disciplined pipeline management and CRM hygiene with minimal supervision.

Strongly Preferred

  • Existing relationships with executive decision-makers, technology leaders, operations leaders, procurement stakeholders, or business development contacts within Healthcare, Energy & Utilities, Technology, SaaS, or Professional Services organizations.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity, cloud, IT modernization, AI, or professional services.
  • Familiarity with commercial compliance and security frameworks, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and Zero Trust.
  • Experience working with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or cloud-focused service offerings.
  • Experience working within a consulting, technology services, or managed services organization.
