Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Software Deployment Specialist to support the deployment of an enterprise Agilent OpenLAB CDS environment within regulated laboratory operations.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on building and deploying Agilent Instrument Controller (AIC) computers, completing validation documentation, supporting laboratory migrations, and troubleshooting instrument onboarding and connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy AIC computers at client laboratory locations.

  • Provide remote deployment support for additional locations.

  • Support laboratory migrations and instrument onboarding.

  • Complete validation and qualification documentation, including IQ/OQ documentation.

  • Execute comprehensive deployment checklists and test scripts.

  • Troubleshoot AIC build, software, and instrument connectivity issues.

  • Coordinate deployment activities with project, technical, and laboratory teams.

  • Maintain required system lifecycle and deployment documentation.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide deployment status updates.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience using or supporting chromatography data systems and laboratory instrumentation within a regulated environment.

  • Understanding of laboratory instrument connectivity and software deployment.

  • Experience completing technical or validation documentation.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively between technical teams and laboratory business users.

  • Ability to travel to client laboratory locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Agilent OpenLAB CDS 2.x and associated laboratory instrumentation.

  • Experience with IQ/OQ or other regulated-system qualification activities.

  • JIRA, Xray/Vera, and ServiceNow.
