PRODUCTION Designer, EDUCATOR SUCCESS

This role is fully remote for US based candidates

For India, candidates should expect to go into the Bangalore office.    


Curriculum Associates is looking for a Production Designer to join our growing Educator Success Design team. He or she will design and edit print and digital implementation materials, which will primarily consist of informational guides, worksheets, slide presentations, and web graphics.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design/edit extensively in Adobe InDesign   

  • Update the design and copy for existing single and multi-page documents

  • Create new single and multi-page documents from templates and style guides

  • Ensure projects adhere to design best practices and adjust layouts accordingly

  • Ability to apply accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.0, ADA Compliance) is a plus

  • Design/edit illustrations and product graphics in Adobe Illustrator and Figma (a plus)

  • Design/edit photos in Adobe Photoshop

  • Design/edit slides in Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Attend and participate in project meetings. Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.   

  • Communicate regularly with supervisors, design team, and cross-functional collaborators to understand and execute project goals and maintain schedules.

  • Track tasks using project management tools.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a record of achievement: 

  • At least 3-5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required

  • A strong appreciation and understanding of both print and web design best practices

  • Understanding of content markup and how to implement changes

  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail

  • Self-starter and a deadline-driven mindset

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across multiple projects at once

  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to collaborate across different functions such as Writers, Product Managers, Project Managers

  • Excellent communication and listening skills, proactively asks questions

  • Openness to and ability to apply constructive feedback

  • Software skills (Mac-based):

  • Adobe CC: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

  • Figma

  • Microsoft Office 365: PowerPoint, Word, Excel

  • Familiarity with AI programs such as Claude and ChatGPT

  • Adobe Premiere and After Effects experience is a plus

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $51,250. - $84,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
