Working within a 24/7 managed operations center, you will monitor security and infrastructure alerts, triage and respond to events, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers. This is an excellent entry point for a motivated engineer who wants to grow across both security operations (SOC) and network and infrastructure operations (NOC) in large-scale Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. You will learn from an experienced team, build hands-on skills with modern monitoring and SIEM tooling, and contribute directly to the health and security of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security and infrastructure dashboards, alerts, and queues to identify security events and infrastructure health issues across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Perform first-level triage, analysis, and response for security alerts and infrastructure incidents; document findings and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.

  • Track, record, and update incidents and service requests in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

  • Respond to common security threats such as spam, phishing, malware, and suspicious activity by following established runbooks and procedures.

  • Assist with routine operational tasks including monitoring configuration, alert tuning, backup verification, and patch execution and validation.

  • Follow established playbooks, runbooks, and standard operating procedures, and help keep documentation current and accurate.

  • Communicate incident status clearly to teammates and, when directed, to clients.

  • Participate in shift coverage and an on-call rotation with teammates to maintain 24/7 operational SLAs.

  • Continuously build knowledge of client environments, security tooling, and cloud operations best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in IT, security operations, network operations, or a related technical support role.

  • Foundational understanding of networking, Windows, and cloud concepts such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.

  • Familiarity with core security concepts such as alerts, incidents, malware, and phishing.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness to work assigned shifts and participate in an on-call rotation.

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass client background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.

  • Familiarity with SIEM and security tooling such as Microsoft Sentinel and the Microsoft Defender suite.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and operations tooling such as Azure Monitor, Azure Automation, Azure Backup, and Azure Security Center.

  • Basic scripting exposure such as PowerShell or KQL.

  • Entry-level Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, SC-900, or MS-900.

  • Experience working in a managed services or 24/7 operations environment.

Join a dedicated team supporting mission-critical operations for our clients. If you’re eager to launch your career in security and infrastructure operations and grow alongside experienced engineers, we encourage you to apply.
