We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented US-based professional to support our payments operations by helping establish and maintain merchant accounts with payment providers such as PayPal, Nuvei, and other processors.
This role is essential to ensuring our payment infrastructure operates smoothly. You will work closely with our internal team to coordinate merchant account applications, respond to verification requests, communicate with payment providers, and assist with ongoing account maintenance.
Compensation: $1,500–$2,000/month, depending on experience.
Schedule: Part-time (5–10 hours/week), with availability during US business hours (flexible schedule).
Coordinate the setup of new merchant accounts with payment providers.
Serve as the primary US-based contact during merchant account application, onboarding, underwriting, and verification processes.
Assist with identity verification and compliance documentation required by payment providers.
Communicate with payment processors to resolve onboarding questions and operational requests.
Monitor the progress of merchant account applications and follow up when additional information is required.
Help maintain existing merchant accounts by responding to routine administrative and compliance requests.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure payment operations remain efficient and uninterrupted.
Maintain accurate records of merchant accounts and onboarding activities.
Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the US.
Previous experience working with payment processors, merchant accounts, fintech, banking, e-commerce, or payments operations strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable interacting with payment providers and managing administrative processes.
Able to work independently and manage multiple ongoing tasks.
Clean background check.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working with payment providers to help establish and maintain merchant accounts. You enjoy coordinating administrative processes, following up on requests, and ensuring that operational workflows move forward efficiently.
