This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements.? You must be available five days per week during designated work hours.? The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. Position Overview


The Employee Lifecycle Management Specialist I is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of employee lifecycle transactions across core HR systems and connected downstream platforms. This role plays an important role in maintaining data integrity, ensuring process consistency, and supporting system alignment across all stages of the employee lifecycle. Building on a solid understanding of lifecycle processes and HR systems, the Specialist I independently manages routine and moderately complex transactions, identifies and resolves data discrepancies, and ensures adherence to established processes and controls. The role develops a working understanding of how lifecycle changes impact downstream systems and reporting, applying this knowledge to support accurate and efficient execution. The Specialist I partners with internal teams to support day-to-day operations and contribute to process and system improvements. This includes identifying recurring issues, providing input on process enhancements, and assisting with testing and implementation of system or workflow changes to improve accuracy, scalability, and overall employee experience.


Primary Responsibilities

The below represents the primary duties of the position; additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.


Employee Lifecycle Processing & Execution

  • Execute employee lifecycle transactions with high accuracy and attention to detail, including hires, job changes, compensation updates, terminations, and data corrections
  • Ensure all lifecycle actions are processed within defined timelines and in accordance with established policies, controls, and audit requirements
  • Proactively validate inputs prior to processing to prevent incorrect data from being ingested into downstream systems

Data Integrity, Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain the integrity and quality of employee data across the core HRIS and connected systems
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data inconsistencies or discrepancies through analysis and validation
  • Use strong Excel skills to support reporting, audits, reconciliations, and data analysis
  • Identify trends and recurring issues in lifecycle data and processes, and share findings with stakeholders

Systems & Downstream Impact Management

  • Understand how lifecycle changes initiated in the core HRIS impact downstream systems, integrations, and reporting
  • Understand and assess downstream process and system impacts resulting from enterprise initiatives, system updates, or policy   changes
  • Partner with HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure changes are implemented accurately and holistically Internal Support & Tier 2 Expertise
  • Serve as a Tier 1 support resource for lifecycle-related questions from internal HR teams and operational partners
  • Provide clear explanations and guidance on lifecycle processes, data requirements, and system impacts
  • Partner with Employee Experience and other HR teams to resolve escalated issues efficiently and accurately

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Support lifecycle processes and programs while maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX/SOC where applicable)
  • Ensure confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive employee data

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations, lifecycle processing, data management, or a related operational role 
  • Demonstrated experience working with HRIS platforms and integrated systems 
  • Experience supporting reporting, audits, or data validation in a high-volume environment preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data validation, and analysis 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated attention to detail 
  • Ability to navigate complex processes and systems with precision and consistency 
  • Working understanding of how data flows between systems and impacts downstream reporting and operations 
  • Ability to anticipate risks and proactively correct issues before they impact employees or reporting 
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills, particularly when documenting requirements or explaining process impacts Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Physical requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

The base pay range for this position is $35,800 - $54,800yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits outlined here.
