Job description

Job Title : Microsoft Power Platform Developer
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Online.
  • Build and customize Power Pages portals for customer- and partner-facing business processes.
  • Develop solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365.
  • Integrate Power BI reports and dashboards into Power Pages and other Power Platform applications.
  • Create custom functionality using JavaScript, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and Dynamics 365/Dataverse plugins.
  • Develop and maintain Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls to extend standard platform capabilities.
  • Implement integrations with external enterprise systems through REST APIs and web services.
  • Support document management capabilities and integrations with Azure Blob Storage.
  • Configure Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, permissions, business rules, and other platform components.
  • Design appropriate data models and ensure solutions follow enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Build AI-enabled business solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio where applicable.
  • Participate in application deployments, source control, release management, and CI/CD activities.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Prepare technical specifications, solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
Required Technical Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience developing solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Advanced experience with:
  • Power Pages
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Dataverse
  • Dynamics 365 Online
  • Strong knowledge of Power Pages customization, including Liquid templates, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and portal security.
  • Experience developing Dynamics 365/Dataverse plugins and custom extensions.
  • deployment pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of application security, scalability, integration patterns, and enterprise development practices.
  • Experience working in GCC and GCC High (GCC-H) environments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.
Preferred Background
  • Experience developing secure portals for customers, partners, vendors, or external users.
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise Power Platform implementations.
  • Experience with Azure-based integration and cloud application architecture.
  • Background supporting government, defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Aerospace industry experience is a strong plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
