Tax Quality Analyst
Duration: 3+ Month Contract 
Work Mode: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Test tax forms in the TaxWise or ATX tax software.
• Verify previous year’s tax return data rolls over to the current year correctly.
• Ensure all corrected defects are functioning as intended.
• Check that forms calculate correctly per the form instructions.
• Recreate the customers’ experience in the tax software.
• Create and execute pseudo tax returns for reuse in subsequent testing.
• Verify tax forms function as expected for Rollover functionality.
• Identify, document, and report defects encountered during testing.
• Re-test forms to ensure corrections on defects previously reported are as intended.
• Manage the testing status of multiple forms throughout the testing process.
• Communicate with different members of the development team and work in a team environment.

Requirements:

• Desire to work in a Quality Assurance role and deliver quality results.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Strong math skills.
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to utilize reference materials.
• Detail-oriented, with good analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good decision-making skills and the ability to work under deadlines.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
• Self-managing, highly motivated work ethic.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in tax preparation, tax development, or tax QA.
