Cloud Platform Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop cloud-native applications and backend services for React-based web applications hosted on S3.
• Implement API integrations and batch-processing solutions.
• Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and REST APIs.
• Integrate with Oracle databases and serverless application development.
• Design, build, and implement complex cloud offerings.
• Manage continuous build, test integration, and deployment of platforms and pipelines.
• Deploy critical infrastructure inter-linking systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS security, CI/CD pipelines, CloudWatch, RDS, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Ability to deliver production-ready solutions independently and support all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Informatica, Oracle databases, React, and migration of on-premises applications to AWS.
• AWS Associate Certification or equivalent Cloud platform certification.
• AWS Professional Certifications or equivalent Cloud platform certifications.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment technologies.
• Experience with test-driven development frameworks for application and infrastructure code.
• Utility sector experience and familiarity with market and credit risk financial functions/terminology.
• Ability to innovate and adopt new approaches, technologies, and solutions.
