Summary: MKS2 is actively seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to enhance secure Azure Government (MAG/GCC) environments, with a particular emphasis on D365, Power Platform, and UMT. This role will prioritize cloud operations, security, monitoring, automation, and ATO compliance to ensure effective and secure infrastructure management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Azure compute, networking, and storage services within Azure Government/GCC.
  • Maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
  • Support ATO controls, continuous monitoring, and adherence to security compliance.
  • Effectively manage SSL certificates and application registration secrets.
  • Implement strategies for log retention, storage optimization, and cost management.
  • Coordinate infrastructure changes, patching, and release activities seamlessly.
  • Develop and enhance automation and DevSecOps practices.
  • Work independently to advance operational and infrastructure initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in supporting Azure infrastructure in Azure Government or GCC environments.
  • Proficient in Azure networking, storage, compute, and security services.
  • Demonstrated background in monitoring, incident response, and operational support.
  • Knowledgeable in ATO requirements, compliance monitoring, and security baselines.
  • Experience in managing SSL certificates and secrets.
  • Familiarity with automation, DevSecOps, and cloud cost optimization methodologies.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Clearance & Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Candidates must have continuously resided in the United States for the past three (3) consecutive years to fulfill federal background investigation requirements.
  • Must successfully pass a government suitability review and background investigation.

Location: Remote USA

Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000
