You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development, with strong hands-on experience in React Native.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Expo and Expo Router.
- Proven experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs.
- Experience implementing form validation and complex user input flows.
- Experience implementing authentication flows, including OTP and/or MFA.
- Experience working with WebViews, preferably in payment-related flows.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with native mobile build tools such as Xcode and Gradle/Android Studio.
- Experience working with Git and collaborative software development practices.
- Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Experience with payment integrations, account management, or autopay functionality is desirable.
- Experience developing and supporting applications across iOS and Android is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining user-facing features using React Native, Expo, Expo Router, and TypeScript.
- Supporting integration migration across the active screen set.
- Implementing authentication flows, including OTP/MFA, when applicable.
- Developing full account management functionality, including create, read, and update capabilities.
- Integrating payment methods and autopay functionality.
- Implementing and maintaining WebView-based payment flows and third-party integrations.
- Removing or suppressing features according to product and business requirements.
- Implementing support channel redirects within the application.
- Integrating mobile applications with backend services through REST APIs.
- Implementing robust form validation and handling loading, error, and edge-case states.
- Writing and maintaining unit tests for authored code.
- Optimizing components for performance across a wide range of mobile devices.
- Collaborating with developers, QA, product, design, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
- Demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with internal teams and customers/partners.
- Being responsible, organized, and goal-oriented while meeting project objectives and delivery timelines.
