About the Role:

As a Web Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic and responsive websites that meet client specifications and enhance user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions that align with business goals. Your role will involve both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring seamless integration of visual elements with server-side logic. You will also be tasked with optimizing website performance, implementing security best practices, and staying current with emerging web technologies.

Location: Remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, one of the states supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA. (No relocation assistance provided.)

Clearance Requirements:

  • Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation.
  • USA Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and update the public website, student portal, and student support pages on Salesforce Experience Cloud and Digital Experiences.
  • Keep site content aligned to the approved Academic Catalog and to program, admissions, and enrollment changes as they are published.
  • Build and maintain Lightning Web Components, custom pages, templates, and branding within Experience Cloud.
  • Own Section 508 and WCAG conformance across all public and student-facing pages: audit, remediate, and document.
  • Implement and maintain responsive layouts that work in the low-bandwidth environments many of our students operate from.
  • Configure and maintain web analytics, including Digital Analytics Program (DAP) tracking, and report on site performance and engagement.
  • Support marketing and communications campaigns, including landing pages, forms, campaign email templates, and subscription management.
  • Build and expand Tier 0 self-service: knowledge articles, FAQs, self-help content, and chatbot-supported pages that reduce support ticket volume.
  • Support the Education Cloud migration by updating and revalidating web components, forms, and portal pages against the new data model.
  • Manage web content and code through sandboxes to Production on a three-week release cadence, with testing and documentation.
  • Partner with the Salesforce, data, and student support teams on portal features that touch student records.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Digital Media, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 3+ years designing and developing websites or web applications.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated experience building accessible web content to Section 508 or WCAG 2.1 AA standards, including testing and remediation.
  • Experience with responsive design and performance optimization for low-bandwidth conditions.
  • Experience with a content management system or web publishing platform.
  • Experience with web analytics implementation and reporting.
  • Ability to move web content and code through a staged environment path to Production.
  • Experience working in an Agile team using Jira or comparable tooling.
  • A demonstrated track record of automating manual processes rather than sustaining them. Be ready to give examples.
  • Camera on. Video is required throughout the interview process and expected for standups, sprint ceremonies, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Experience Cloud or Digital Experiences development experience.
  • Lightning Web Components, or a willingness to learn them quickly.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder.
  • Higher education web experience, particularly student portals, admissions funnels, or academic catalogs.
  • Modern JavaScript framework experience: React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Accessibility tooling: axe, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA, or comparable.
  • Digital Analytics Program (DAP), Google Analytics, or comparable platforms.
  • Marketing automation and campaign email template development.
  • Git and version-controlled deployment workflows.
  • Prior federal contract experience.
