This is a remote position.

Overview :

Role: Insurance Consultant/Business Analyst (P&C Insurance)

The candidate should have 4-8 years of post-MBA experience in P&C insurance-related roles, possess in-depth industry knowledge, and be skilled in business analysis, consulting, pre-sales activities, and market research. Candidate will work closely with consulting veterans, practice leaders, and clients in a challenging, dynamic environment with ample opportunities to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

• Consulting: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and challenges. Provide strategic guidance and expertise to help clients optimise their insurance operations, processes, and technology solutions.
• Requirements Analysis: Gather, document, and analyse business requirements, translate them into functional specifications for insurance software development.
• Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to develop proposals and presentations tailored to potential clients. Create compelling value propositions and solutions to address client requirements.
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging opportunities. Analyse data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Training and Support: Prepare insurance training materials and impart training to internal teams to improve their domain knowledge to help in the effective designing, developing, and testing of insurance applications.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in insurance through ongoing research and networking. Share knowledge and insights with colleagues and clients.


Requirements

Qualifications and Capabilities:

• MBA Full Time (PGP or PGP-Ex) from a reputed institute
• 4-8 years of experience in BA/Consulting roles in P&C Insurance domain. Experience with insurance platforms like Guidewire is preferred, along with industry certifications such as AINS, LOMA, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance products, processes, and regulations, especially Property and Casualty line.
• Experience in pre-sales activities and client-facing roles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with both client and internal leadership.
• Proficiency in data analysis. Practical knowledge of SQL will be preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of extended teams.
