This is the job

We are looking for a .NET Engineer to join our team and work on both an established financial platform and a new generation of modern cloud-based solutions.

You will contribute to maintaining and modernizing an existing ASP.NET platform while also helping build a greenfield platform using .NET, TypeScript, React/Next.js, and microservices. The role combines hands-on development, architectural thinking, production support, and AI-assisted engineering in a regulated financial services environment.

This is you

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.

• Hands-on knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms and/or MVC, including working with legacy codebases.

• Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including query writing, optimization, indexing, and data access patterns.

• Good command of TypeScript for frontend and/or backend development.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Practical knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.

• Growth mindset and willingness to work on both existing systems and greenfield solutions.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.

• Security-conscious approach to software development.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Knowledge of the FIX protocol, particularly trading system integrations, order routing, or institutional messaging.

• Understanding of event sourcing and CQRS patterns.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes or AKS and containerized workloads.
  

This is your role

• Develop and maintain features across the existing ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC platform using C#, .NET, and SQL Server, including query and data access optimization.

• Support and extend FIX protocol integrations and troubleshoot production issues in a critical financial environment.

• Contribute to the development of a greenfield platform using TypeScript, React/Next.js, REST APIs, .NET microservices, and AKS.

• Participate in architectural decisions and apply modern patterns such as CQRS and event sourcing where appropriate.

• Use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, security, and maintainability.

• Improve observability and documentation through logging, metrics, tracing, runbooks, and technical specifications, while collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
