As a Senior Manager, Clinical Data Operations & Integration, you will lead teams responsible for onboarding, integrating, validating, and supporting clinical, financial, and revenue cycle data across R1's data platform, Revenue Performance Solutions suite, and AI-powered healthcare products. This role plays a critical part in helping clients unlock value from their data by ensuring accurate, scalable, and reliable integrations that support analytics, operational workflows, and product adoption.

You will partner closely with client IT teams, interoperability and clinical informatics leaders, Product, Engineering, Client Services, and Operations to manage complex implementation programs and drive successful deployment of healthcare data solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who understands healthcare data ecosystems, enjoys solving complex integration challenges, and is passionate about building and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop managers and data operations professionals responsible for client data onboarding and implementation delivery.
  • Oversee medium- to large-scale healthcare data implementation programs across multiple clients and products.
  • Drive successful onboarding and support of clinical, financial, patient, provider, and revenue cycle data into R1 platforms.
  • Partner with client IT, interoperability, integration, and clinical informatics teams to ensure accurate data ingestion, mapping, validation, and monitoring.
  • Lead implementations involving healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT, X12, CCD, and C-CDA.
  • Establish scalable implementation best practices, governance frameworks, operating metrics, and delivery processes.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex integration, implementation, and client delivery challenges.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Client Services, and Operations to improve implementation outcomes and client experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and data quality through process optimization and technology solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while influencing strategic decisions across programs and client engagements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience working with healthcare data, healthcare technology, analytics, interoperability, revenue cycle, or related healthcare operations.
  • 8+ years of experience in client-facing roles supporting internal or external customers.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability and clinical data exchange standards, including HL7, FHIR, CCD/C-CDA, X12, and related integration technologies.
  • Experience working with healthcare revenue cycle, clinical, patient, and provider data domains.
  • Experience with SQL, data validation, ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage complex implementation programs and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading healthcare data implementation or interoperability programs.
  • Experience partnering with clinical informatics, health system IT, or interoperability teams.
  • Familiarity with healthcare analytics, AI-driven healthcare platforms, or enterprise healthcare software solutions.
  • Project or program management experience supporting large-scale client deployments.


For this US-based position, the base pay range is $150,075.00 - $248,837.87 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
