Job description

Premier Research is looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician - FS to join our Functional Services Provider (FSP) team.

You will help biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma companies transform life-changing ideas and breakthrough science into new medicines, devices, and diagnostics. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Maintains lab library that contains, lab ids, lab tests, lab test units, Standard Interventional unit conversions, unit conversion formulas, textbook reference ranges, lab test questions and Lab test codes
  • Maintains lab ids and updates normal reference ranges in multiple databases.
  • Reviews lab slips and lab documents for normal reference ranges for all protocol required lab tests to create new lab ids in Clinical Data Management System (CDMS)
  • Reviews and approves new lab tests questions for addition into CDMS
  • Reviews and provides lab test codes for all new lab tests
  • Assist in a CDISC Controlled Terminology mapping
  • Assist in development of guidance documents to support sites with the collection of complete and accurate Normal Reference range documents
  • Provide guidance for the missing reference range documents, Note to File and textbook reference range requests
  • Assist in the development and update all lab related SOP documents and guidelines
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

 What We Are Searching For:
  • Bachelor degree, or international equivalent from an accredited institution, preferably in a clinical, biological or health-related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 3 to 5 years of practical experience managing lab data and/or lab data standard libraries, working in a hospital or clinical lab setting, or interpreting patient lab results. Alternately, must have proven experience in all primary job functions.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills, able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Demonstrates excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to drive a successful customer experience through positive customer interactions, provision of quality and timely deliverables, and task ownership

Additional details:
- Remote Position
- Fixed Term Contract – from September until the end of November 2026
- Working Hours – 11AM to 7PM, Monday-Friday
