Process Lead - Global Supply Chain Excellence

Position Summary:

  • Full time salaried position

  • When not traveling, position required to be onsite at a US Catalent site
     

The Process Lead - Global Supply Chain Excellence is responsible for driving operational excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement across the end-to-end supply chain within Catalent’s network. This role strengthens supply chain performance in a highly regulated, client-focused environment by optimizing planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and technology-enabled processes.

As a
Process Lead - Global Supply Chain Excellence, this role partners closely with site Supply Chains, Finance, and IT to ensure reliable operations that meet client expectations, comply with GMP requirements, enable technology and support on-time delivery of clinical and commercial products.

Our Bridgewater location is the corporate office for Catalent.
 

The Role:

  • Support global supply chain processes excellence across planning, scheduling, materials management and warehouse logistics, aligning to GMP standards and CDMO business models

  • Establish harmonized process controls and KPIs to ensure consistency across sites

  • Host global forums (Best Practice sharing, SMEs, and cross-functional working groups) to drive alignment and structured governance

  • Lead Lean/Six Sigma-based improvement programs aimed at reducing cycle times, optimizing inventory, and supporting right-first-time performance

  • Drive optimization of current systems (ERP, MES) to support GMP-compliant and data-driven decision making

  • Lead implementation of advanced planning capabilities (capacity modeling, MPS/MRP improvements, Finite Scheduling, E2E analytics)

  • Identify and deploy digital tools that improve process robustness (workflow automation, dashboards, exception management tools)

  • Needs to be flexible for a work schedule which will need a combination of “work from home”, travel and on-site presence

  • 25% annual global travel expectations

  • Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field, required

  • APICS or CPIM certification, desired

  • Minimum ten years of supply chain experience, ideally in pharmaceutical or CDMO environments

  • Experienced and adaptable to work fluidly across many cultures to build teams and improve customer results

  • Demonstrated experience in global process ownership or multi-site operations leadership

  • Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory expectations (FDA, EMA), and pharmaceutical quality systems

  • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies

  • Proficiency with ERP (SAP, JDE/Oracle), MES and analytics platforms (Power BI)

  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds


Pay: 

New Jersey Posting
The anticipated salary range for this position in New Jersey is $85,000 - $122,000, plus bonus, when eligible. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
