Job description

This role can be based in any of the following states: NY, CO, CA, MA, or DC.

About Talent.com

Talent.com is a job platform that matches job seekers with employers in more than 50 countries. We're seeking talented individuals to help us fulfill our mission of connecting the world to work. Our fast-paced environment offers many opportunities to grow your career while contributing to our success. If you are a team player, we are the right fit for you: collaboration is the cornerstone of our workflows and is highly valued by our global workforce, regardless of function, department, or time zone. You'll work in a people-focused HR tech company where every voice will be heard. Join us and become part of our multicultural and diverse team!

Position Overview

As a Growth Operations & SEO Specialist, you will be a key member of the Partnerships team, working across SEO, user acquisition, AI automation, and partner operations. Your mission is to help the team scale by improving organic growth, automating manual processes, and building tools that allow us to move faster and make better decisions.
You'll partner closely with Publisher Managers, Product, Engineering, and Data to identify inefficiencies, build AI-powered solutions, and contribute to initiatives that improve both internal operations and business performance. Whether it's optimizing Google for Jobs, creating AI agents, automating partner workflows, or uncovering new user acquisition opportunities, you'll be expected to proactively identify problems and build scalable solutions—not simply execute assigned tasks.

What You’ll Own and Drive

  • Serve as the front-line technical SEO resource across Talent.com's global properties — advising on and implementing technical SEO, programmatic SEO, Google for Jobs optimization, structured data, crawlability, indexation, and site performance — and partner with Product and Engineering to monitor results in Google Search Console and ship scalable solutions that support organic growth
  • Partner with the Partnerships team to identify manual processes ripe for automation, evaluate new AI and automation tools, and eliminate repetitive work across partner management, user acquisition, reporting, and day-to-day operations
  • Build AI-powered workflows, internal tools, dashboards, and agents using platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, Hex, SQL, Python, APIs, and other emerging technologies to help the team scale
  • Support user acquisition by analyzing large datasets and performance trends to identify growth opportunities, surface operational inefficiencies, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Coordinate and contribute to cross-functional projects with Product, Engineering, Data, and Partnerships, helping move initiatives from ideation through execution while continuously improving processes to deliver measurable impact within your area of expertise
  • Support and mentor less experienced team members by sharing SEO and automation best practices and contributing to knowledge transfer across the Partnerships team

What you Bring

  • You have 6+ years of experience in technical SEO, growth, digital marketing, analytics, operations, or a similar role
  • You have deep hands-on technical SEO expertise — Google for Jobs, structured data (JobPosting schema), crawl optimization, indexation, sitemaps, canonicalization, and enterprise SEO best practices — including managing SEO for large-scale websites and understanding how technical changes affect organic search performance
  • You are passionate about AI and have hands-on experience with LLMs, automation platforms, APIs, and scripting, plus tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Hex, SQL, and Python (or similar), to improve efficiency
  • You have a highly analytical, builder mindset, you enjoy using data to solve complex problems and building systems and processes that improve efficiency
  • You proactively identify opportunities, take initiative, and advance projects with limited direction while seeking guidance where appropriate
  • You are organized, collaborative, and comfortable coordinating projects across multiple teams without formal authority
  • Experience with user acquisition, online marketplaces, job boards, or partner ecosystems is considered a strong asset

  • Remote work Policy
  • Competitive salary
  • Generous vacation policy
