JOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Planning & Quality Assurance Associate will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels across our various channels, including online platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and our retail store. This role combines strategic inventory planning with quality assurance to optimize stock levels, prevent product shortages or surpluses, and maintain quality compliance across all Herbal Goodness products. This individual will work closely with the sales, operations, and supply chain teams to forecast demand, manage inventory flow, and ensure that our customers receive their products on time.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Inventory Management:
    • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and processes to ensure optimal stock availability
    • Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing team, Procurement, and other functions to forecast demand and supply
  2. Order Processing:
    • Process purchase orders and sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure orders are fulfilled and shipped on time.
    • Address order-related issues and provide resolution as needed.
  3. Supplier Coordination:
    • Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
    • Resolve any issues related to supply delays or discrepancies in orders
  4. Data Analysis
    • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of improvement
    • Prepare reports on inventory metric for management review
    • Assist in forecasting demand and supply needs.
  5. E-Commerce Integration:
    • Ensure accurate inventory levels are reflected on the E-commerce platform and records.
    • Analyze e-commerce sales data to forecast inventory needs and adjust stock levels accordingly
    • Co-ordinates with E-commerce team to manage sales and stock updates
  6. Process Improvement:
    • Participate in supply chain improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Suggest process enhancements and innovative solutions to streamline operations.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with various departments, such as procurement, production, and sales, to align supply chain activities with overall business goals.
    • Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth flow of information and materials
  8. Quality Assurance: 
    • Identify, document, and resolve quality issues with suppliers, working closely with the purchasing and production teams to implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain accurate quality records, including inspection results, non-conformance reports, and corrective action documentation.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing process changes to enhance product quality and reduce quality-related costs.



    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
    • Must have completed NYSC.
    • Relevant Logistics or Supply Chain certification is an added advantage.
    • Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of Inventory Planning best practices.
    • Experienced in implementing good documentation practices.
    • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements, with experience dealing with regulatory agencies.
    • Experience in Quality Release processes and laboratory analysis is an added advantage.
    • Basic understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must have a reliable internet connection, working laptop, and the ability to adjust work hours to Central Standard Time (9 am - 5 pm CST).


    Compensation: N180,000 - N250,000 Gross
