Job description

We are looking for a Federal Contracts & Compliance Specialist who is open to work on request. You will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the entire lifecycle of federal contracts. Your expertise will ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate effective procurement processes. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders to negotiate terms, manage vendor relationships, and maintain meticulous documentation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic planning and business development while ensuring that our organization meets its contractual obligations.
What you’ll do

  • Manage the procurement process, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and UCC law.
  • Oversee vendor management by establishing strong relationships and monitoring performance.
  • review Non-disclosure and teaming agreements for partners and from partners. Recommend changes, negotiate terms, etc.
  • Prepare documentation and artifacts for ongoing ISO, CMMI, and CMMC compliance
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms for the organization.
  • Implement effective document management practices to maintain accurate records of all contracts.
  • Conduct thorough compliance management to ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies.
  • Facilitate change management processes related to contract modifications and amendments.
  • Collaborate with teams on proposal writing, pricing strategies, and technical writing for contract submissions.
  • Utilize our ERP system Unanet for efficient contract tracking and reporting.

 Basic qualifications

  • Strong understanding of federal contracting processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record in contract negotiation.
  • Proficient in document review and records management practices.

 Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with intellectual property law as it relates to federal contracts.
  • Familiarity with DocuSign for electronic signature management.
  • Background in business management or development, enhancing strategic planning efforts.
