DCM Inc. is a leading telefundraising firm, raising millions for progressive organizations since the mid-1990s. We are seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our call teams and help our prestigious clients continue to fight for the future we deserve. If you believe in democracy, are frustrated by recent Supreme Court rulings, or are tired of gun violence and anti-choice legislation, this is your opportunity to use your passion for good!

JOB PROFILE:

• Calling prior Democratic Party donors to secure gifts over the phone 
• Part-time: minimum of 16-20 hours a week (4 full shifts)
• Shift schedule: 4-8pm Mon-Thursday, Friday 11am-3pm, Saturday 10am-2pm. Please note, these are in the Eastern Time Zone.
• Mandatory paid training -- Thursday 8/20 and Friday 8/21. You must be available this week.
• Fully remote/WFH -- all calling is done virtually through your laptop/computer
• No cold calling -- all leads are generated by the DNC and made up of prior/lapsed Democratic donors
• Receiving feedback/coaching from your Manager is to be expected; calls are monitored for quality assurance and productivity

REQUIREMENTS:

• knowledge of current events and US politics
• successful sales and/or fundraising background; an ability to close sales and make money (must be comfortable asking for at least $5k)
• must have a computer or laptop (with the most recent version of Google Chrome), and a headset or headphones, with excellent internet connection!
• an ability to follow directions and convincingly read from a script, and discuss the state of American politics
• computer savvy, with proficiency on multiple softwares/platforms; you must also be able to solve/troubleshoot any potential equipment or internet connectivity issues on the fly!
• persistent, diligent work ethic; self-motivated while being a team player
• high-quality customer service attitude
• must be a US Citizen and working from one of the following states: NY, NJ, CT, MA, IL, or CA

COMPENSATION:

• Pay is a combination of a base hourly rate plus commission
• $14 per hour, plus 3% commission on all credit card gifts received
• You are guaranteed to earn your state's minimum wage. An average successful caller makes between $20-25/hr in total
• Potential bonuses for large gifts!
