Join Synmatch AI's client as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - FPGA / DSP with a global premium provider of measurement and testing systems. You'll work on embedded platforms that power critical infrastructure for electrical trade, industry, and public institutions.

Our client has decades of expertise in high quality measurement technology with "Made in Germany" standards. You'll design and implement signal processing chains on FPGA and DSP platforms, deriving requirements from international measurement standards and delivering reliable, tested solutions for precision instrumentation.

This role offers deep technical work across signal chain design, FPGA programming, and requirements engineering, collaborating closely with hardware and product teams to deliver production-grade embedded measurement solutions.

What you will do as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - FPGA / DSP...

  • Requirements Engineering: Derive technical requirements from IEC device and measurement standards for signal processing implementation

  • Signal Chain Design: Architect and design signal processing chains for FPGA and DSP platforms

  • Programming: Implement signal chain logic in FPGA/DSP environments with focus on precision and performance

  • Testing: Design and execute unit tests to verify signal processing accuracy and system reliability

  • Documentation: Produce clear technical documentation covering design decisions, test results, and system specifications

  • Embedded Systems Experience: Proven experience with embedded systems and hardware with limited resources

  • Signal Processing: Strong background in digital signal processing theory and practical implementation

  • Requirements Engineering: Experience with requirements derivation, UML, and structured system design

  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in C/C++, Rust, or similar languages for embedded development

  • FPGA Expertise: Hands-on experience with FPGA architecture, VHDL/Verilog, synthesis, and testing workflows

  • Tooling & Workflows: Experience with automated workflows, GitLab, Jira, and CI/CD practices

  • Documentation Skills: Ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation

  • Language: Fluency in English
