Charge Capture & Revenue Integrity Review
- Review charge capture, charge integrity, and revenue integrity workflows for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Evaluate AI-generated charge review outputs, coding recommendations, and revenue integrity alerts for accuracy and practical relevance
- Assess charge capture workflows across clinical departments, service lines, EHR systems, and billing operations
- Identify missed charges, duplicate charges, charge capture errors, incorrect revenue codes, pricing issues, and revenue leakage opportunities
Charge Description Master & Billing Compliance Evaluation
- Review charge description master workflows involving charge codes, revenue codes, pricing, billing rules, and maintenance processes
- Evaluate outputs for alignment with CMS billing guidelines, Medicare Part A and Part B billing rules, payer-specific requirements, and internal compliance standards
- Assess whether charge recommendations are complete, compliant, and operationally realistic
- Support review of charge audits, corrective action plans, revenue integrity findings, and charge-related billing risk areas
Structured Feedback & Quality Control
- Annotate AI-generated charge and billing outputs and provide structured feedback to support quality improvement
- Explain review decisions clearly, consistently, and with strong revenue integrity judgment
- Identify billing errors, compliance risks, missing clinical or operational context, and unsupported AI-generated recommendations
- Follow detailed task instructions, quality criteria, and project-specific review guidelines accurately
Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have:
- 5+ years of experience in charge capture, charge integrity, revenue integrity, healthcare compliance, or related revenue cycle operations
- Deep knowledge of charge description master management, revenue codes, charge capture workflows, and billing compliance
- Strong understanding of CMS billing guidelines, Medicare Part A and Part B billing rules, OIG compliance priorities, and payer-specific billing requirements
- Experience conducting charge audits and developing corrective action plans
- Proficiency with charge capture systems, EHR platforms, revenue integrity tools, and healthcare billing workflows
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to identify billing errors, revenue leakage, and compliance risks in AI-generated outputs
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
Educational Background
- Professional background in healthcare revenue integrity, charge capture, charge integrity, medical billing, coding compliance, revenue cycle operations, healthcare finance, or clinical department billing support is highly relevant
- Experience in hospitals, health systems, physician groups, revenue integrity departments, compliance teams, or healthcare business office operations may be especially valuable
- Practical experience with charge capture systems, EHR platforms, CDM tools, billing workflows, audit processes, and revenue integrity analytics may support project fit
- Formal education in healthcare administration, health information management, finance, accounting, business, coding, compliance, or a related field may be relevant depending on project scope
Nice to Have
- CPC, CCS, CHFP, CRCS, or similar coding, healthcare finance, revenue cycle, or compliance credential
- Experience with 340B drug program charge capture and compliance
- Background in hospital, health system, or physician group revenue integrity operations
