Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Location: Enjoy the flexibility of a primarily remote position based in the Miami, FL area, with occasional in-person appearances for hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and team collaboration.

Note: Applicants must be actively licensed with The Florida Bar and have at least 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience. Candidates must demonstrate employment stability (no job hopping), and solo practitioners will not be considered. Insurance defense attorneys with substantial deposition and personal injury litigation experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

  • Manage personal injury litigation matters from case inception through resolution.
  • Investigate claims and develop comprehensive litigation strategies.
  • Draft complaints, motions, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Argue motions and participate in court hearings.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Collaborate with partners during litigation strategy meetings.
  • Assist with mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
  • Participate in trials in Florida state and federal courts when needed.
  • Deliver exceptional client service throughout every stage of litigation.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar license.
  • 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Deposition experience preferred.
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Stable employment history with no pattern of short-term positions.
  • Insurance defense background considered if it includes substantial personal injury litigation and deposition experience.
