Pay: $200,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. This role offers a flexible, remote-capable structure with the expectation that you are based in the DFW metro area and available for in-person court appearances and key proceedings.

Note: This role requires a Texas Bar license and substantial commercial litigation experience; candidates must be locally based in the DFW metro area for court availability. ο»ΏThis position has an annual billable hour requirement of 2,000 hours.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage complex business and commercial litigation matters from strategy through resolution
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions, manage discovery, and oversee depositions
  • Appear in court for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
  • Develop litigation strategies aligned with client business objectives
  • Collaborate closely with partners and support staff while mentoring junior attorneys as needed
  • Serve as first or second chair in trial, depending on experience and matter needs

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Bar license in good standing
  • 5+ years of directly relevant commercial or business litigation experience
  • Strong motion practice, discovery management, and courtroom presence
  • First-chair trial experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage cases independently with minimal oversight
