Data Scientist - Washington, DC (REMOTE)

Duration: 12 months

Seeking for a Data Scientist with expertise in Python, SQL, and Databricks to support data analysis and research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large and complex datasets to identify trends and generate insights for data-driven decision-making.

  • Perform data analysis and research using Python, SQL, and Databricks.
  • Extract, clean, transform, analyze, and validate large datasets.
  • Develop SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
  • Use Databricks for scalable data processing and analytical workflows.
  • Identify trends and insights from data.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Develop repeatable analytical processes.
  • Lead or support data analysis initiatives.
  • Analyze Medicaid and CHIP program data to support objectives.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python.
  • Strong SQL skills for complex datasets.
  • Experience with Databricks.
  • Experience in data science and data analysis.
  • Ability to work with large datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Medicaid and/or CHIP data.
  • Experience with healthcare data analysis and reporting.
