Job Summary

As a Nuse Case Manager, you will assess medical information, treatment plans, and functional capacity to support disability claim decisions and help claimants achieve safe and timely return-to-work outcomes. You will partner with claim specialists, physicians, employers, vocational experts, and claimants to evaluate medical conditions, identify barriers to recovery, and recommend appropriate treatment and workplace accommodations. This role also supports disability prevention and return-to-work initiatives by providing medical expertise, education, and consultation to internal teams and employer groups.

Skills and Background You'll Need

Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, or a related field.

Experience: 4+ years of clinical nursing, hospital, utilization review, quality management, case management, or related healthcare experience.

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience reviewing medical records and assessing functional capacity, treatment plans, and disability-related medical conditions.
  • Knowledge of disability management, return-to-work practices, and medical case management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, claim professionals, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain a Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Certified Professional Disability Management (CPDM) designation within two years of hire.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:

$76,250.00 - $111,500.00
