Job description

Our Client is seeking an District Sales Leader, Western Canada is responsible for managing the assigned region, including meeting or exceeding order volume and revenue targets and operational budgeted costs. Responsible for ensuring the Account Managers and Account Executives work together synergistically to achieve the total regional goals and objectives.

Location: (Western Canada) Remote

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: CA$120,000 – CA$160,400. (Canadian Dollar ) Per Year

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Western Canada sales district, with full responsibility for achieving regional revenue, order volume, and profitability targets.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to consistently meet or exceed quotas and business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Account Managers and Account Executives, ensuring strong collaboration and alignment toward regional goals.
  • Manage complex, bundled medical equipment/MedTech sales opportunities, from prospecting through negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare organizations, hospitals, clinical leaders, procurement teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive new business development, account growth, market expansion, and competitive wins across the assigned territory.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, forecasts, and territory metrics to ensure forecast accuracy and predictable revenue growth.
  • Conduct and oversee executive-level sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Analyze customer and business opportunities using ROI, NPV, ROA, and other financial analysis tools to demonstrate value.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of medical capital equipment, MedTech products, competitors, market trends, and the company's product portfolio.
  • Manage regional operating expenses and ensure activities remain aligned with the approved operational budget.
  • Identify market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities and translate them into actionable sales plans.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Marketing, Finance, Operations, Clinical/Technical teams, and Senior Leadership to support regional growth.
  • Establish performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and create development plans for sales team members.
  • Travel extensively throughout Western Canada, spending up to 70% of the time on the road supporting customers and the sales team.
  • Ensure sales activities, customer interactions, and business practices comply with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations
