Job Description

This expansion role is for a Network Engineer in the Brazil/Mexico/Philippines area to perform remote support with various customers to implement and support Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco-based networks. Your first project is a full-time position with one of our customers managing Palo Alto and Cisco network devices and providing support for the customer’s follow the sun model.

In this role, you will:

  • Implement, troubleshoot, and document enterprise networks and related systems
  • Implement, manage Palo Alto firewalls
  • Provide knowledge transfer and informal training to clients

Qualifications

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong understanding and skills on Palo Alto firewalls
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) level expertise in Enterprise Infrastructure (formerly Route/Switch), (enterprise wireless and collaboration are welcome as well - let's talk)
  • Demonstrable experience in the implementation, troubleshooting and support of large enterprise networks
  • Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSFP, and BGP)
  • Good understanding and practical experience with switching technologies (Spanning tree, EtherChannel, Port Security, 802.1X, MAB)
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50%

Desirable:

  • Strongly prefer experience with the implementation of Cisco-based wireless network infrastructure
  • Wireless experience preferably with Meraki is required
