Job description

ScaleOps is redefining autonomous cloud and AI infrastructure. We're on a mission to free DevOps and platform engineers from manual resource management so they can focus on innovation, not tuning resources. The results: maximized performance and a reduction of cloud costs by up to 80%.

As the category leader in Autonomous Cloud and AI Infrastructure Resource Management, we're trusted by leading enterprises including Adobe, Wiz, Epic Games, Northwestern Mutual, Coinbase, DocuSign, and Fortune 100 companies to autonomously manage their most critical production environments.

Backed by Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and other leading VCs with over $210M in funding, ScaleOps is the leading player in a massive and growing market. We are building the autonomous infrastructure management platform that will power the next decade of enterprise compute.

What You Will Be Doing

We are rapidly expanding and seeking an experienced, technologically savvy Account Manager who loves promoting cloud infrastructure or DevOps products. As a member of our growing Sales team, you'll work alongside the founding team and engineers to dramatically influence the future of our users' infrastructure and help develop new sales channels by reaching diverse audiences throughout organizations.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers, fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
  • Own the success of the Account Management function by driving customer retention, expansion, and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic customers, serving as an escalation point for complex business and technical challenges.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure customers achieve maximum value from ScaleOps.
  • Coach the team on account strategy, executive communication, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells while ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds its targets.
  • Establish and optimize account management processes, playbooks, KPIs, and operational best practices as the organization scales.
  • Monitor customer health, adoption, and business outcomes, proactively identifying risks and opportunities across the customer portfolio.
  • Review account performance, pipeline, and forecasts, providing visibility and actionable insights to leadership.
  • Ensure accurate CRM hygiene and reporting, maintaining clear documentation of customer engagements, renewals, and expansion activities.
  • Collaborate with Enablement and Leadership to onboard, train, and continuously develop the Account Management team.

What You Bring Along

  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a related customer-facing role within a B2B SaaS or cloud technology company - experience in DevOps domain.
  • 2+ years of experience leading customer-facing teams.
  • Proven track record of driving customer retention, expansion, and long-term customer success.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
  • Experience working with CRM and customer success platforms such as Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and Grafana (or similar tools).
  • A collaborative leader who enjoys working cross-functionally and helping teams succeed.
